The wedding "magnificent but simple" - and personal
The two princes - the two brothers - are about to emerge from Clarence House. Their simple, emotional connection with the British people has been commented on. We hope they will be really magnificent in character for that would be inspiring.
Breaking with tradition, Prince William will arrive early to greet friends and family before the ceremony.
The princes have just left Clarence House! Prince William is in his uniform as Colonel of the Irish Guards. They look very happy.
William has just been made the Duke of Cambridge, but we are sure he will want to be known as Prince William.
There is no number plate on the Bentley, of course. The crowds are cheering and waving flags.
