The kiss and the flight pass
On the balcony: The husband and wife, the pages and flower girls, The Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duchess of Cornwall, the Middletons and now we have the kiss.
Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was the first to greet people from the balcony. So it is a very good tradition.
A second kiss which delights the crowd!
The RAF fly past: A Lancaster flanked by the Spitfire and the Hurricane pass overhead. The Tornados and the Typhoons are on their way.
The long view down the Mall - a vast tapestry of people.
Simon Schama: This was a marriage between William and Kate and between the monarchy and the people.
