You know how difficult it can sometimes be to go online, due to adventures beyond your control, and so it was for me today. Half an hour ago, sitting with the newspaper, with no hope of posting, I saw this piece and thought that you, dear reader, had to see it since Joanna Lumley is one of our heroines and because she says so many things we have secretly thought about gardening. So I rushed to my laptop to post this link.
