The ruling class
British readers will find parallels and differences in Britain when they read Angelo M. Codevilla's essay on America's self-anointed ruling class. The author is professor emeritus of international relations at Boston University. The link was provided by Maggie's Farm, a self-identified member of the country class.

I remain mystified as to why this article hasn't become even more viral since its first publication over 12 months ago. It more perfectly describes America's political situation than anything I've seen in years. I'm especially sure he's correct, due to my personal intent to get myself into the ruling class via my undergrad political science major at Columbia when I was younger and my finding better honor in the "opposite" country class when I grew older. Codevilla's thinkpiece comprehensively explains so much!
