"More than capable", Lancelot 'Capability' Brown

At Blenheim, Capability Brown "dammed the paltry stream flowing under Vanbrugh's Grand Bridge, drowning half the structure with improved results". Image and Text Wiki
The Financial Times says that garden designer Lancelot ‘Capability' Brown (1716-1783) has received insufficient recognition in Britain, though his design themes have been copied around the world:
Brown did not just make landscapes grander than anyone else in his generation, he made bigger and better landscapes and he made more of them (at least 280). . .
280!
He was hailed as a genius who, with a ‘poet’s feeling and painter’s eye’, could raise up visionary landscapes.
He did.
Looking at his inspiration, we connect Capability Brown and his parks with freedom.
