A note from David

Cuba may seem very far from the concerns of this website, but I think that the idea of freedom, which grew in Britain, eventually made its way to America and to Cuba and many other parts of the world.

Over the centuries, a small, brave vanguard of Brits fought for freedom. How wonderful that their struggle should inspire others -- and how ironic that Brits in Britain must struggle for freedom today.
