100,000 petition Downing Street for referendum on EU
David Cameron faced more pressure for an "in-out" referendum on Europe today as a 100,000-name petition was delivered yesterday. A cross-party delegation of MPs and MEPs handed in sacks full of signatures at 10 Downing Street.
Well done.
We know Mr Cameron's response - "We are in Europe", and won't consider leaving. The pressure will continue.
