Remembrance Sunday
"The Queen laid the first wreath at the Cenotaph at Whitehall, central London, to commemorate members of the Armed Forces who have died in all conflicts since the First World War."
In the silence, "The Queen stood motionless with her head bowed, at the head of her family who stood in a line behind her".
Watching the video, it was touching to see The Queen walk backwards from the wreath she had laid.
Why have these conflicts occurred?
One reason is an insane preference in Europe for ideology. Think Robespierre's French revolution, Bolshevism, Communism, Fascism, Naziism.
Ideologues don't allow men and women to be free. They forcibly reshape men and women according to their ideas even if it means, and it always does, killing millions of them.
May we remember.
