William Blake - Joy
The Tate is celebrating the 250th anniversary of Willliam Blake’s birth with works from the excellent permanent collection and private loans of recently discovered works which have never before been exhibited. The show runs to 1 June. There is no one who combines Blake's strange and wonderful poetic and visual artistry.

Doth the winged life destroy;
But he who kisses the Joy as it flies
Lives in Eternity’s sunrise."
