Time to take a long, cool look

We first posted on Christopher Monckton's challenge to Al Gore and the manmade global warming brigade on December 21st 2006 - more than three years ago.
A year later, in December 2007, we posted that growing numbers of scientists were skeptical about global warming.
In January 2008 we interviewed Ken Tapping of the Canadian Space Agency, who revealed that solar magnetic energy levels were so low we would face an ice age if they continued. This suggests something we all know - that climate is affected by factors other than carbon dioxide - the Sun, for instance.
In 2009 and 2010 we linked to reports from Philip Foster and Richard North, who showed that the global warming figures didn't add up - unless you were making money in cap and trade.
A few days ago, a key IPCC scientist admitted that there had been no statistically significant global warming for the last 15 years.
He also suggested that the Medieval Warm Period - when Frenchmen enjoyed drinking English wine and Parliament first met - might have been warmer than today without adverse effects - unless, as noted, you count Parliament and English wine as negatives.
Politicians have been keen to exploit the crisis by raising taxes and giving the money to their cronies. It's time to take a long, cool look at all of them, and vote accordingly.
