Frankel ran to victory by seven lengths to perfect his winning record of 13, his eighth consecutive win in Group One. His trainer Sir Henry Cecil, gaunt from fighting cancer but continuing to work, was there. The crowd at the Juddmonte International Stakes in York gave Sir Henry a standing ovation. Best of all was the look of affection he shared with Frankel.
